Your first visit to the dentist was a success! We talked a lot about what to expect before our visit, even reading Dora’s First Trip to the Dentist.
Upon arrival, you were very quiet, soaking it all in. Once it was time for the x-rays, you started warming up, and put on the “princess coat” to take pictures of your teeth.
Now the fun begins! First up, picking out a new toothbrush and cool sunglasses to wear during the visit. You were in heaven when you were allowed to pick the flavor of gloves you wanted the hygienist to wear, and squealed with delight when you were given your own glove to wear!
Next, you were introduced to the cool tools that would help clean your teeth. “Mr. Thirsty” was your favorite.
You sat so still while she cleaned your teeth and waited patiently as she did her job. The dentist gave you a thumbs up for perfect teeth and we were on our way (after picking up a balloon and lollipop of course)!
Such a big girl now…
