I am truly blessed to be able to celebrate this day not only as a daughter, but as a mom to these two precious gifts.
Mother’s Day is really just another day that I get to spend with my family, except I don’t get as much resistance when I ask for pictures!
We spent the morning at church, went home after lunch and I got to take a glorious nap! After that we headed over to my parents’ house for a relaxed afternoon. My parents had the pool out, although the water was freezing. The kids splashed around and had a great time, although they didn’t last for too long!
Braden loves his baby cousin. He squeals “baby” with such enthusiasm every time he sees her, and again and again! He also loves to give her kisses, much to her dismay.
Lucky me that I got lots of great new pics with the boy. Riley was off playing with her cousin and wasn’t interested.
Someone discovered corn on the cob and is in love!
I asked Riley to help feed baby Leslie so Aunt Paige could finish eating and she jumped at the chance. She’s such a great helper and was really patient with her. Love the look of delight on her face!
